Privacy Notice

Public-site privacy. credfi.us is designed without advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. The public site does not ask for a seed phrase or private key.

1. Scope

This Privacy Notice applies to personal information processed through the public credfi.us website and direct communications with CrediFi. Separate notices may apply to future credential, wallet, scoring, enterprise, or regulated products.

2. Information we may process

Website and security data

Our hosting and security providers may process IP address, request time, browser or device information, requested URL, referrer, and security event data in server logs. This is used to deliver the site, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and protect systems.

Communications

If you email us, we receive the email address, message content, attachments you choose to send, and related metadata. Do not send seed phrases, private keys, passwords, or unnecessary financial documents.

Wallet and public blockchain information

If you connect a compatible browser wallet, the site requests permission to read the public wallet address selected in that wallet. CrediFi does not request a seed phrase or private key and the live scoring flow does not require a transaction signature. When you analyze a wallet address, CrediFi processes that public address and public Robinhood Chain activity needed to calculate and display the score, including account state, indexed transactions, token-balance information, and derived scoring metrics.

Scoring request data

The scoring service may temporarily cache a calculated result to reduce duplicate requests and protect infrastructure. Hosting logs can associate a scoring request with technical request data such as IP address and timestamp. Public wallet addresses and public blockchain activity may be personal information when they can reasonably be linked to an individual.

3. How we use information

We may use personal information to operate and secure the website, calculate user-requested wallet scores, prevent abusive automated requests, respond to communications, investigate abuse, maintain legal records, comply with law, protect rights, and improve service reliability.

4. Cookies and similar technology

The current public site is designed to operate without advertising or analytics cookies. Necessary hosting or security technology may process request information. See the Cookie Policy.

5. Disclosure of information

We may disclose information to service providers acting on our behalf, professional advisers, authorities when legally required, and parties involved in a corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information for money and do not use the public site for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, legal obligations, security, dispute resolution, and recordkeeping. Live score responses may be cached briefly for performance and abuse prevention. Hosting and security logs may be retained according to the applicable provider configuration. Public blockchain records remain available independently of CrediFi because they are maintained by the underlying network and indexing services.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet system can be guaranteed completely secure. Never send wallet secrets to CrediFi.

8. U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling where those rights apply. See U.S. Privacy Choices.

9. Children

The website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the public site.

10. International access

CrediFi operates from the United States. If you access the site from another jurisdiction, information may be processed in the United States, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Notice as our services or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date.
